Seasalt is captained by Chef Vivian Vitalis, who hails from Penampang in Sabah, East Malaysia. Chef Vivian’s culinary philosophy and passion reflect the growing trend towards a healthier, more down-to-earth lifestyle. Working with neighbouring fishers and local suppliers, he seeks out the excellent seafood in the region as well as local produce. Fresh, natural and organic is the essence of his cuisine, allowing the natural flavours of the ingredients to express themselves.
We have been planning to visit the SeaSide restaurant since arriving in Bali 6 weeks ago. The restaurant is located at one of Bali's most luxurious beachfront hotels Alila Seminyak. Hotel, restaurant, spa, pool bar, beach, boutiques. That is everything that could ask for a pleasant stay on vacation. Seasalt Seminyak is offering these all. We had a pleasure of enjoying the tasty vegetarian tapas menu with gluten-free bread, which was specialised for us.
It will be published later on their Vegetarian/Vegan menu offering 10 different plant-based its to choose from. However, we could not make the end.. lol, I would suggest 3-4 dishes between two people.
After surrendering at 6 dishes between us, The next day we decided to pop in again for breakfast which was just as amazing, It cost 300k BTH per person if you are not a guest of the hotel.
Paula has admitted many times this week that Seasalt has the best cappuccino with almond milk she has ever tasted!
We both fell in love with this place that we ended up on there the same day having a several of their unique cocktails for Paula's birthday. I can say we felt like family there. The staff manage to surprise Paula with three birthday cakes! My favourite one was matcha cake ;)
